AiB Team - Robert Todd and Theri Andino Hand Analysis

North opens 2, and East passes (only one preemptor per hand!) South has a lovely hand but a serious stopper problem, so he bids 2NT to ask for a Feature or as Ogust. This is probably enough to keep West quiet (might have balanced, but not bid now), and North shows the hand as agreed - Feature or none/bad (maybe stretched to good) hand, bad suit - and so South probably just lets this go at 3.
It just so happens today that since the K is singleton and the K is good for a pitch, this makes 11 tricks if declarer gets all that right.

East opens 1 and South overcalls 1. West has a tough call - he doubles, not having enough to bid 2 as a forcing bid here, or bids 1NT, or bids 3 (which has the advantage of blocking the opponents' as yet undiscovered fit), and then North likely just passes since partner is only an overcall (but may need to come in later since he does have 2 Aces!) That's also probably enough to just buy the whole shebang.
This is a lovely place to play - declarer loses 1 and 1, and a ruff if the defense finds it or the defense just leaves declarer to deal with himself, he loses another.

South opens 1 and West might overcall 1, but should really think about not bidding on this very puny 8-count, red - he could, however, make a Michaels Cue Bid 2 bid. North can then make a 2 cuebid to show his limit raise in support of , but East goes right to 4. South bids 5 as a slam try, basically asking for help in , but North doesn't have that at all, so he signs off in 5.
It won't really even help if the defense leads because those pitches don't do South any good - he still loses 2 and 1. (EW weren't that far off of making 4 either!)

West passes, North passes, East passes, and South has a tough call - he could open 2 but it would be a stretch, so 1 should be OK. North bids 1NT, South jump shifts to 3, and so North just bids 4.
North can help with the fillers and the J, but declarer still loses 1, 1, and 1 because of the bad break.

North passes (rearrange the location of the 11 points and it could be an opener), East passes, and South opens 1 (maybe 1NT, but this is possibly too good for that.) West passes and North likely bypasses the to just show the limit raise in - possibly with a Drury 2. South just takes that to game, not giving the opponents any more info. If South does open 1NT, North transfers to and they play 4.
With South as declarer, the defense can't get both of their tricks, so declarer should lose just 1 and 1 (although that does need the defense to just take the A, which they may not, and declarer could make 12 tricks.)

AiB Team - Robert Todd and Theri Andino Hand Analysis

East passes, South passes, and West opens 1. North overcalls 1, and since East and South can support their partners, this feels like the bidders will win the auction, but probably just at the 3-level, unless the bidders chicken out at the 2-level.
That's fine - declarer loses 1, 2, and 1 - but does need to ruff quite a few things, so can't really pull all the trump right away. The defense can make it more interesting by leading trump, but then declarer just has to set himself up a pitch.

South passes, West passes, and North opens 1. East could double, but should be displeased about the K singleton and the vulnerability and just pass. South makes that Drury bid, and so North accepts to 4 (maybe even splinters to 4, but that's not likely to spark interest in South.)
But it happens that there's this undisclosed fit, and the loser can get pitched, so there's just the 1 loser total! (Assuming declarer guesses the right - can't try for the double hook on this one!)

West opens 2 and North passes. East probably double checks that he's sorted his hand correctly, and then bids Ogust or Feature ask, and South passes. West shows a bad hand but a good suit (2 of top 3 should be a good suit even if red), and so East has to decide just how pushy to get with this. He has all those outside controls and a huge fit, but that doesn't mean there aren't outside losers, especially since partner showed a bad hand. It may be hard for East to pass up, and and he might bid 6, but lots of players will just be in 4.
Everything is smiles today - the K falls first even if declarer is contemplating a finesse and the can be set up with a successful finesse and one round of ruffing to take care of the loser, so really declarer has all the tricks!
