AiB Team - Robert Todd and Theri Andino Hand Analysis

North opens 1 and East passes. South (probably - although this is a pretty bad 12) game forces into 2, so North raises to 3, and South gets to 3NT and leaves it there.
It's true that a lot of 12-opposite-12 games make, but they need some things to go right, and this hand just doesn't have much going right for it. Declarer can get his 4 and 1 pretty easily, but then everything else needs work, and that opens the door for the defense. West is likely to lead a , and while South has another stopper, West should still be able to run several of those once they're set up. It will be important for East to preserve West's entry if the A gets knocked out early, though. But declarer should be held to 1, 2, 4, and 1.

East opens 1 and South passes. West makes a simple raise to 2, which keeps North quiet. East could try something slammish, but really should consider what absolutely perfect hand partner would have to have to make only a simple raise but still be able to support slam - it's a narrow window, so East should just bid 4.
Indeed, declarer has 2 losers in a and the A, so this was a good stop (and look how good West's simple raise was!)

South passes but is ready to hop in with some kind of 2-suited bid, given the chance. West opens 1 and North passes. East starts with a 1 bid, so now South has the chance to do something like Unusual 2NT, but that won't stop West from supporting (although it does rob him of the chance to jump to 3 to show some extra values), and since he knows his shape is useful now, he can Splinter into 4, but that does not excite East, and they just play 4.
The trump break here will make things a little awkward, but declarer should still be able to just lose 1 and probably 1.

West passes and North opens 1 on some shape. East passes, and South game forces into 2. Once again, North is a little stuck, but a waiting 2 rebid is good here, and South bids 3. North has little else to do but bid 3NT with the stopped.
But it's not hard for the defense to find the lead, and so declarer falls sadly short of 9 tricks because he just has to keep letting those pesky opponents in, losing 1, 4, and 1. However, if the defense doesn't lead and lets declarer set up the while he still has the A, this does stand a chance of making.

North opens 1 (with a good rebid of 2 available), and East passes. South responds 1, and West passes. North probably rebids 2 and South might offer 2NT, but also might pass since all his values are pretty soft and he doesn't have much help for in NT if needed. So it looks like probably some partial is our destination here.
And that works fine - declarer loses 2 and 2, but fortunately the K is onside (and 2NT would have been OK but 3NT would not.)

East opens 1 and South overcalls 2. West passes, so North has to decide how pushy to get - he might bump to 3 on the LAW of Total Tricks . That does make East's decision a lot harder - he has an easy reopening double over 2, but this is another level, and he's red, and he might just let this go.
It was right for EW not to try to bid any higher, but would have been good if there was a way to make a penalty double. Declarer loses 1, 2, and 3 to go down 2.

South opens 1 and West passes, so North makes a Jacoby 2NT raise. East passes. South should be careful about showing a short K, however, and with this minimum, should instead just bid 4. North does have a lot of Keycards, but no shortness himself, and nothing much to develop, so he can let this go.
It turns out that the K singleton is not as wasted as feared, but that fit actually turns into 2 losers! (And declarer has get the right too!)

AiB Team - Robert Todd and Theri Andino Hand Analysis

West opens 1, so North passes. East has a fit but not enough for a simple raise, but he can try a (semi-)forcing 1NT. South passes, West bids 2, and East bids 2. That probably passes to North, who doubles, and South chooses 3 and plays it there.
That works fine - would be better, but oh well. Declarer loses 1 and 2 and a ruff if the defense finds it for East.
