AiB Team - Robert Todd and Theri Andino Hand Analysis

North opens 1 and East is just barely not good enough to start with a double, so she just overcalls 1. South most likely then just sits quietly, and West also passes since partner "only" overcalled, so she doesn't think they're missing a game, especially with no fit. That makes it easy for North to rebid 2 (although it's not crazy to pass, worried that the opponents might be missing their fit at a higher level), and therefore East can double to show 4-card . Again South passes (kind of hoping North will decide to defend!), and West bids 2. North may finally get the picture and pass, if she doesn't press on with 3. We can see that it's best for her to let this go, but that might be hard to see at the table, and so the scores here could be all over the place.
If West does play 2, it goes fine - declarer loses 1 and 2, but then has to deal with the unfortunate breaks in both Majors to wind up with 2 more losers.

East passes, South passes, and West opens 1. North overcalls some largish number of - let's call it 3, and East is happy to pass again. West reopens with a double for takeout, and East has no reason to know that are a better idea than , so it looks like 3 is our most likely contract.
That's too bad - 3 could have made with 1, 1, and 2 losers, but there's no way to pitch losing to escape those losers here in a contract, and declarer loses 2, 2, and 1 ruff.

South opens 1NT, which everyone passes with nowhere better to suggest!
It looks like West may well lead a , which doesn't actually give anything away. Declarer goes after and as soon as she can, and should be able to come to 3, 2, 2, and 2, but the defense probably gets their 1, 2, and 2 first, and then will have to fight it out for that last trick.

AiB Team - Robert Todd and Theri Andino Hand Analysis

West has an amazing hand, and could therefore open 2, but this is a great example of a hand that doesn't actually need to/shouldn't open 2. It's got two suits, which is notoriously hard to describe after opening 2, and with "only" 18 HCP and two Major suit cards, this is highly unlikely to pass out from a 1 opening. So West opens 1, and while North might be tempted to make a Michaels Cue Bid bid of 2, she shouldn't because of the vulnerability. That lets East respond 1, and South to (possibly) overcall 1 (may not from the suit quality, but would be a good idea here). In either case, West proceeds with a reverse into 2 (or could also cuebid 2, denying a fit but game forcing), but now North has a chance to throw a major wrench in the gears if South had bid 1 by bidding 4 right away. East should go ahead and support partner's now at 5, and then it will be up to West to take that to slam or not (probably not). If West had bid 2 instead of 2, then East more likely doubles 4, and West leaves it, trusting partner.
It's true that 6 could make, on a couple of successful finesses, but it will be interesting to see if anyone gets there. Declarer could get away with losing just 1 (probably; since declarer will have a really tough time getting to the dummy, she has to prioritize finesses, and the finesse looks like it comes first.)

North passes and East opens 1, which South passes. West game forces into 2, which gets East really excited, but since this is now a game forcing auction, East doesn't have to do anything drastic and can just rebid 2. West has a few choices now - although it seems like a jump to 3NT, showing some extra values in the 15-17 range, is the best description. (If that's what the jump to 3NT shows - otherwise, he just temporizes with 2NT, East rebids 3, West bids 3NT, and then we pick it up at the same place...) East won't let that go just yet, and could ask after Aces (if 4 is Gerber ) or Keycards (if 4 is minorwood) (or just bid 4NT, which West would accept to 6NT), find that they aren't missing any (although maybe the absence of the Q is revealed), and likely settle for 6NT.
The defense's best chance at a trick on this hand is actually an opening lead because declarer might duck a round of those/take a finesse. In reality, there is no trick for the defense since the split 3-3 and declarer is entitled to 5, 5, 1, and 2 without any finesses.

East passes, and South probably opens (a bit of a style decision) with 1. West could preempt 3 here (but could be put off by the colors as well) and so North bids 3, and that really seems like it ends the auction. If West doesn't preempt, North bids 1NT, and when that passes back to West, now she can bid 2 and we get back to NS bidding , but again probably ending at 3.
Declarer always loses 2 and 1, and then can pitch a on the 13th so she only has to guess the once and could have just one loser there.

South passes and West opens 1. North overcalls 2 (slightly light, but has the advantage of robbing the opponents of the rest of the 1-level; could also bid 3.) East passes, South raises to 3, and West can still reopen with a takeout double. North passes and East chooses 3, so West has to decide just how much she likes this hand. Raise to game or not, it seems like East gets to declare this in some number of .
It's true that declarer could escape with only 3 losers here, but that requires double-finessing the and starting with the T to drop the 9 (since there are 3 other losers with 1, 1, and 1), so it seems way more likely that declarer just makes 9 tricks here.

AiB Team - Robert Todd and Theri Andino Hand Analysis

West opens 1, which North doubles. If East can make a 2 bid without promising terribly many values, she can; of 2 would show a real raise, she should pass for now. South then would probably pick 2, which lets West rebid 2/double. North is a little stuck again, but probably tries 3, and so East passes again with this really flat hand. South certainly isn't going on, and West has tried twice already, so this seems like it.
We were past the point of making contracts anyway, so this is fine. Declarer loses 1, 2, 1, and 1, and that's not even counting the complications from the uncomfortable break - although East couldn't ruff anything anyways!
