AiB Team - Robert Todd and Theri Andino Hand Analysis

North passes (although some may open) and East opens 1 , which South passes. West is close to game forcing but not quite (if we want to let partner open aggressively and therefore sometimes slightly light, we should have solid hands to Game Force ), so instead he bids a 1NT (semi-)forcing. North now might bid 2 , and East rebids 2 . South would probably then raise to 3 (no one's vulnerable, seems like a good idea), and so West has a tough call - 3 seems like not enough, 3 is scary with no guarantee of a fit, 3 also seems a little light and not a fit, and he doesn't have a stopper for NT - so double seems like it may be the best at getting across most of the good parts of this hand. East doesn't really have a reason to pull that, so it seems like it might get played in 3 X (but of course lots of other final contracts possible!)
This should work out well for EW, who were unlikely to bid either of their games. Here on defense they can get 1 , 2 , 2 , and 1 for down 2, doubled, +300. If EW played 3 , they'd only have to lose 1 and 1 .

East passes, South passes, and West opens 1 . North overcalls 1 , East passes, and South offers a cuebid for a limit raise in with 2 (but also might just raise to 2 ). North has a decent hand but nothing that thinks game is all that great a prospect opposite a passed hand, so he just bids 2 and that seems like that.
And this works out just fine - declarer loses 1 , 2 , and 1 (although he does need to be careful to lead up to the possibly multiple times.)

South passes, West passes, and North opens 1 . East has enough values that he should bid, but a double is a real bad idea with just the two little , so instead he can overcall 1 on the full 14 pts. South bids 1 , West passes, and North raises to 2 . Now East can double to keep looking for , and South can redouble to show his good hand. West chooses 2 , and when that comes back to South, he has to decide whether to bid or defend, and he probably chooses to play and bids 3 .
In , there are just the 9 tricks - declarer loses 1 , 1 , and 2 (assuming the defense goes after them ASAP). But it turns out that in NT, there are also 9 tricks - 2 , 4 , 3 , and 1 (but defense can get 1 , 1 , and 2 ) - but North would probably have to suggest that, and it doesn't seem likely.

West opens 1 , which North is intrigued to hear as he passes, and East starts with a (semi-)forcing 1NT. South bids 2 (maybe even 3 ), and West continues with a takeout double, which East is quite happy to pass.
This is a mess for South - he likely gets his 4 big and that's it!

North opens 1 , planning to bid a lot on this hand, but waiting to see what partner says. East overcalls 1 , and so South doubles to keep in the picture. West passes (again, just too flat to make a weak raise), and so North has options - but the most likely options are 4 or 3 if partner will take that as a Splinter . It's still not clear South will move past game, but if he does go to ask for Keycards, etc, he'll find them missing one and could bid 6 .
This is a good slam in terms of just the one missing Keycard loser, but to make it, declarer will also have to drop the Qx offside, which could be hard to do!

East opens 1 and South passes (maybe makes a 2 overcall at these colors - and that could lead to a more exciting high-level auction). West starts off with 1 , so North passes. East rebids 2 , and so West bids 2 to set the Game Force because he's just a little too strong to jump to 3NT now. East patterns out with 3 , and so now West can bid 3NT having painted a pretty good picture of his strength.
North can tell EW don't have a whole lot of length in , but even that lead doesn't hurt. Declarer can take a quick 5 , 3 , and 2 tricks, and then if he has the guts to lead up the the K (or the defense does it for him at some point), he can have one more trick there.

AiB Team - Robert Todd and Theri Andino Hand Analysis

South opens 1 and West overcalls 2 (good suit and good for disrupting North's ability to bid a Major), but North can indeed still bid 2 . East passes and South raises to 4 , since partner has at least 10 points.
Sure enough, West can get his 2 tricks, but that's it - declarer has everything else.

AiB Team - Robert Todd and Theri Andino Hand Analysis

West opens 1 and North passes, so East starts with 1NT (semi-) forcing. South still pipes up with 2 , and West (probably, maybe) rebids 3 , but North has a great 4 bid. This complicates things for East a lot, but 4NT should be taken for the minors, he could try that, and West picks , but North still bids 5 and surely gets doubled.
So let's say NS do get to play some number of . Declarer loses 1 , 1 , and 1 .
